Join Us!

The Ladybrook Singers is a friendly choir who enjoy learning, singing and performing together. Everyone makes an important contribution and there is strong loyalty and commitment - a number of our members have been with us for 30+ years. New singers are always very welcome - and often tell us that they feel part of the choir very quickly.  Many of us have made lifelong friends through being with the Ladybrook Singers. 

Before deciding to join, you can come along to a couple of rehearsals to find out what the practices are like - as well as to get to know us a bit, and vice-versa.

Once you feel you would definitely like to join (which we hope you will!), our Musical Director, Alison Bletcher, will do a short voice test with you to check you are in the right part  - Soprano 1, Soprano 2 or Alto for the music we sing. When she has confirmed you as a member you will be given all our current music, plus detailed information on choir membership, uniform and the subscription fees (currently £23 a month, half price for students).

Audio tracks of the music we are learning are provided. We do everything we can to make choir a safe, accessible and respectful space for all involved. Ladybrook is managed by an elected committee of members.

We rehearse in a level access venue in Hazel Grove on Thursday evenings 7:30pm - 9:45pm. There is free parking and the venue is on the busy 192 bus route.
